SUPKids 5-days school holiday camp

We run this programme during school holidays, it runs for a full five days, roughly 09:00-17:00 in-line with parental/caregiver work schedules.

The SUPKids program is designed to teach kids SUP, water safety & environmental education. We know what it’s like to fall in love with being in the ocean. And we know that, with a passion for SUP comes a responsibility to take care of our environment. Our vision is to create experiences for our SUPKids that will enhance their appreciation, respect & understanding for sustainable living.

Our school holiday programmes are run in an inclusive, non-competitive environment with a real focus on building self-esteem. We use games, drills & SUP activities to ensure that our SUPKids walk away with vital water safety skills that will stay with them for life. We’ve taken environmental education out of the classroom, to the great outdoors, where we think it belongs.

How SUPKids works

Our SUPKids Schools teach our programs in the ocean, on lakes, in rivers and in safe waterways in all sorts of awesome locations. The program has been developed for youth aged 5-19.

Our holiday camps immerse youth in global & local environmental issues, shoreline clean ups, team building, waterway safety/etiquette, PaddleFit games & more! Our primary purpose is to foster an appreciation, respect & understanding for the environment in our youth & to grow their passion for nature & SUP.

SUPKids is an international program that Social nature Movement licenses. We operate this SUP camp with the unique ability to book independently of other camps. The SUPKids main goals are to teach stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), water safety, and environmental education. Kids learn best when they’re having a good time and SUPKids masters ways to sneak in the educational stuff in a way that keeps everything super fun.

And beyond SuP...

Just because the 'official' SUPKids lessons stop at five, doesn't mean the learning, mastery and discoveries stop too. Social Nature Movement always take participants as far as they can go, not as far as we think they should go. So, if they have a passion project, an environmental inkling or simply love it so much, SNM are the ones to help that insatiable mind!

We believe that when kids fall in love with an outdoor sport, they fall in love with the outdoors. And kids who love their planet become ambassadors for taking care of it.

How to become an ambassador for the planet

We’ve created a comprehensive, educational program. Most schools we speak to say they’ve wanted to do something like this for ages, but haven’t had the time or resources to make it happen. We’ve done all the hard work so you don’t have to.

A movement connecting kids to nature and empowering them to take care of our planet. Collectively we’re making an impact camp; creating a growing tribe of ambassadors for the planet.

We offer more than just SUP lessons. SUPKids combines SUP with environmental education camp; water safety. Teaching kids more than just how to paddle.

SUPKids provides showcases what it means to use business as a force for good. Studies show that consumers are making purchase decisions that sway towards businesses who are committed to a triple bottom line (taking care of people, profit; planet).

As part of the SUPKids team, you’ll benefit from wider exposure; brand awareness across all media. We work in conjunction with Starboard’s marketing team. We support all our SUPKids Schools in their own marketing pursuits; helping leverage storytelling opportunities.

We have opportunities to deliver social good projects locally through our inKIND programs, as well as having an impact in our global inKIND programs in collaboration with our partners Starboard; SeaTrees. Yes, we can help!

We select the best staff for the job based on their skills, knolwedge and experiences. They will be an SNM staff member or we will bring in support from equally competent contractors. Sometimes we also bring in (semi)celebrity guests!
