A brought to you and done for you service.
Tents are pre-pitched and taken down, so there is nothing you need to do or bring. Simply take your own toiletries, clothes, etc.
Turn up to the Coast to Coast two-day campsite and simply slide into bed. Wake up and just leave without having to pack anything away.
Tents up and ready by Thursday night, you may turn up then and stay for two nights to enjoy the environment. Please note that due to the enormous job of so many tents, staff start packing down at 07:00 on Saturday for those that have left. We expect you to be out at the latest around 09:00, please.

Tents will be up no later than Thursday evening. Tents are pre-pitched and taken down, so there is nothing you need to do or bring. Remember tents are 100% water, wind and mosquito proof. They also have excellent airflow should it get hot and humid.
Some toilets are on site prior, but extra toilets arrive Thursday around midday.
Potable water truck available Friday morning.
Cold river to swim / cleanse in. Please bring your own towel.
You should be able to park right next to your tent, if not very close by.
There is good cellphone reception. But with over 3,000 people in one spot the networks can get overwhelmed and in the past they haven’t worked well (just phone calls seem to work; don’t rely on texting or internet/social media).
We will have signs for “Glamping”, you will see the large beige Glamping village and it shouldn’t be hard to miss (you can spot it as far away as the Waimakariri SH73 road bridge).
Food vendors set up on Thursday with food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) available Friday onward. Bring cash just in case.
You will only need to bring your toiletries, food, cooking equipment, cutlery, crockery and any other personal items. We will set up some marquees where people can gather under. Please bring your favorite camp chairs! We will have a large chilly bin with complimentary cold drinks.
Please note that it is not uncommon for people to start waking up at 4am on the Saturday to prepare for the second day (“all Support crew must have departed Klondyke Corner for Mt White” by 5am)! Please note that due to the enormous job of so many tents, staff start packing down various equipment at 06:30 on Saturday and begin on tents around 07:30 for those that have left. We expect you to be out at the latest around 09:00, please. You literally just need to wake up and exit your tent, we do all the packing down for you 🙂
Lastly, prepare for any weather. It has snowed at Klondyke in February and the rain can be very heavy. Bring plenty of warm, waterproof and windproof clothing.
As with any events and nature, there will always be surprises and nothing is ever perfect.
