If choosing these locations, we must have easy access and/or contact details so that we can pass by on our own schedule to collect and load. This is done on the Monday and Tuesday preceding C2C, so the gear must be accessible and/or someone must meet us. In reverse, same applies, but the drop off days after the C2C are Tuesday and Wednesday.

Details and logistics

Dates and timings:

Auckland deliveries and drop offs are on the weekend prior to C2C (Saturday/Sunday) 1-2 days prior to the Monday departure
Kayak Trailer leaves on the Monday (same week) before the Coast to Coast race start
Trailer and gear returns to Auckland ready for collection the following weekend (Saturday/Sunday) after the C2C race

Inclusions:

Kayak delivered to Kumara racecourse to apply stickers etc.
White Bridge Kayak collection
Waimak Gorge Bridge didymo disinfectant treatment and trailer loading
Extra charges: if we have to retrieve your kayak from Woodstock due to inability to make cut-off we charge $200

Insurance:

Not covered by SNM, arrange your own or take the risk

Notes:

All gear must be placed inside your kayak with a hatch cover on.
