Most at home in the outdoors, Blake loves to get out into Aotearoa’s whenua, moana, and awa. His passion for the outdoors began in Scouts and has included a variety of voluntary work including as a Scout leader, Wellington Land SAR member, and lead facilitator on rite-of-passage programmes. He regularly tramps, paddles, and rock climbs around Te Wai Pounamu (the south island) but still calls Te Whanganui-a-Tara and the Tararuas home. Blake is now combining his love for the outdoors with his passion for working with people and studying sustainability and outdoor education. Blake seeks to connect people with the environmental and cultural aspects of the outdoors to provide a well-rounded and engaging experience.
